Splash Mountain is a classic attraction which brings guests into an experience with songs, water and thrill. Disney Parks has just announced a transformation project for the attraction, featuring Princess Tiana and the story of “Princess and the Frog”. This new project will take place in Disneyland and Magic Kingdom.

The current project does not involve Splash Mountain in Tokyo Disneyland. The attraction in Japan is expected to continue presenting the story from “Song of the South”, with the familiar tune of “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah”.

Disney Parks tend to transform their attractions with a brand new theming from time to time. Although this may bring something new to the parks, some people would argue that the originality of attractions are lost during the process. We shall see when the project is completed.
